The oil depot for the Russian army's strategic bombers in Engels has suffered significant damage following an attack by the Defense Forces.

According to the summary, on January 8, 2025, Ukrainian drones struck the "Crystal" oil depot, located 8 km from the Engels-2 airbase. The strike caused large-scale fires in the fuel and lubricant storage area, which took several days to extinguish.
According to British intelligence, another strike on the "Crystal" oil depot occurred during the night of January 14, which again resulted in a fire and inflicted additional damage to the facility's infrastructure.
Satellite images reveal that 4 fuel storage tanks were destroyed and 10 were damaged.
