"We must do everything to maintain the strong connection between Europe and the U.S.," said Tusk.

"We must do everything to ensure that Europe and the United States speak with one voice," emphasized the Prime Minister of Poland.
Необходимо сделать всё для сохранения тесной связи между Европой и США, - Туск.

Everyone, without exception and regardless of their emotions, wishes for the best possible European-American relations.

Poland's Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated this after the summit in London, reports PAP.

The Prime Minister emphasized that the most crucial aspect for the security of Poland, Europe, and the future of Ukraine is to maintain the closest possible ties with the United States.

He added that there is a sense that following the meeting between Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky on Friday, a narrative is being created that could divide Europe and the U.S.

"We cannot allow this. Poland, for obvious reasons, is most interested in Europe being stronger and capable of defense on a scale vastly greater than it is now, to deter Russia from any potential attack," Tusk stressed.

He further noted that the country is simultaneously working to maintain the strongest possible connections with the United States.

"That is why I unequivocally supported the proposal from Italy's Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni that Europe and the U.S. should find a way for continuous and very honest discussions between each other and an exchange of ideas, so that we can understand one another as well as possible before the decisive events that lie ahead. I am referring to negotiations," he said.

He added that Poland and Europe are looking forward to March 6, when negotiations among European leaders regarding Ukraine are set to continue, as this will provide "a very clear signal that will also indicate to Putin and Russia that no one in the West intends to capitulate to his blackmail and aggression."
