In Munich, the head of the President's Office, Andriy Yermak, met with the U.S. President's Special Representative for Ukraine and Russia, Keith Kellogg.
Yermak announced this via Telegram.
According to him, the main topic of discussion was “coordinating joint efforts to achieve a just and lasting peace.”
“Putin never plays by the rules. The Russians only respect strength and disdain those who do not use it. Any agreements without strong pressure from Russia will not work – control over Ukraine remains the foundation of the Kremlin's imperial ambitions. That is why our shared duty is to ensure that the aggressor pays a real price for all committed acts,” the head of the President's Office wrote.
Yermak added that he and Kellogg also discussed the continuation of support for Ukraine.
“Helping Ukraine now is much cheaper than countering a stronger Russia later. We specifically discussed the preparation of planned high-level meetings and the visit of the U.S. Special Representative to Ukraine,” emphasized the head of the President's Office.
Kellogg has not yet provided details of this meeting.
This year's Munich Security Conference will take place from February 14 to 16. It is expected that around 60 heads of state and government, 150 ministers from around the world, as well as leaders of major international organizations will participate.
