The demand for electric cars has increased by 3% compared to January 2024. Among the registered electric vehicles, there are 646 new and 2853 used passenger cars.

The bestsellers of the month among new cars were models from BYD, ZEEKR, AUDI, and VOLKSWAGEN. Among used vehicles, the most popular were NISSAN, TESLA, HYUNDAI, and KIA models.
The highest registration figures for electric vehicles were recorded in the Lviv region – 482 units, with 93% of them being used.
In Kyiv and the Kyiv region, 475 (62% used) and 290 (73% used) electric cars were registered, respectively, while in the Dnipropetrovsk region, there were 240 (81% used), and in Odesa, 233 (70% used).
According to Ukravtoprom, the most popular electric vehicle among new cars in Kyiv became the MAXUS Deliver 9 light commercial van. In the regional markets, it was the BYD Song Plus EV.
In the segment of foreign used cars, the leaders are: TESLA Model Y (Kyiv and Kyiv region), TESLA Model 3 (Dnipropetrovsk and Lviv regions), and NISSAN Leaf (Odesa region).
Background. Earlier, Mind reported that the demand for Chinese cars in Ukraine has decreased. In January 2025, Ukrainians purchased 819 passenger cars imported from China, which is 40% less than in January 2024.
