An accident occurred at a mine in Dnipropetrovsk region.

A malfunction occurred at the substation of a mine in the Dnipropetrovsk region, leaving 135 miners trapped.

The press service of the State Mining Rescue Squad of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported this information.

The miners were located at a depth of over 1300 meters, the rescuers noted.

The rescue operation was carried out by mining rescuers in collaboration with company specialists and staff from other units of the State Emergency Service.

Ultimately, the miners were safely brought to the surface, and no one was injured.

“The rescue of the miners required the use of a complex technology to create artificial load for the mine cage, which allowed for the safe lifting of individuals to the surface. The rescue operations have been completed. All 135 miners returned home safe and sound,” the rescuers shared.
