"We need a leader in Ukraine who can negotiate with us and with Russia," stated Volts.

Нам нужен лидер в Украине, который сможет договориться с нами и с Россией, - Волц.

The U.S. National Security Advisor, Mike Waltz, stated that to bring the war in Ukraine to an end, a leader is needed who can negotiate with both the United States and the Russians. If the motivations of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky differ from this, then a problem arises.

Waltz made this statement during a CNN broadcast, responding to a question from the host about whether, in his opinion, U.S. President Donald Trump wants Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to resign.

“If it becomes clear that President Zelensky is personally or politically biased against halting hostilities in his country, then I think we actually have a problem,” he added.

The U.S. National Security Advisor also mentioned that he believes the war between Ukraine and Russia should end with territorial concessions, and an agreement on this was reached with the Russian side in Saudi Arabia.

“I say that this war needs to be ended, and this will lead to territorial concessions, it will lead to Russia receiving security guarantees, and it will lead to all parties sitting down at the negotiating table, and we are working very diligently to advance these negotiations. We had an agreement in Riyadh with the Russians, we are working to deal with this, we thought we could reach an agreement with the Ukrainians,” Waltz stated.

He also emphasized that only Trump can unite all the parties involved.
