Supporters of South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol, who is accused of attempting a violent power grab, stormed the courthouse that decided to keep him in custody.

According to Reuters,

it was reported that on Sunday, the South Korean court extended President Yoon Suk-yeol's detention by 20 days, leading to mass protests from his supporters. Furious demonstrators broke into the courthouse, smashed windows, and created chaos inside.

In particular, the president's supporters breached police barriers, stormed the courthouse, destroyed furniture, and used fire extinguishers against law enforcement officers attempting to quell the unrest.
