The Kremlin has announced that Vladimir Putin is ready to meet with the elected U.S. President Donald Trump.

“Putin has repeatedly expressed his openness to contacts with international leaders, including with U.S. President Donald Trump. The president has mentioned this multiple times, we have discussed it numerous times, and there are no conditions required for this,” he stated.

Peskov also mentioned that a “political will to engage in dialogue and resolve existing problems through conversation” is supposedly needed for a meeting between Trump and Putin.

According to him, “there are currently no specifics regarding the meeting.” However, he suggests that “there will be movements” once Trump returns to the White House.
