This year, North Korea will supply Russia with at least 150 ballistic missiles and artillery, according to Budanov.

The KN-23 missiles have previously been adopted by the Russian army.
Северная Корея в этом году передаст России как минимум 150 баллистических ракет и артиллерию, сообщил Буданов.

In 2025, North Korea plans to supply Russia with at least 150 KN-23 short-range ballistic missiles, along with artillery shells and systems.

This was revealed in an interview with The War Zone by the Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Kyrylo Budanov.

“Artillery is used to support both North Korean and Russian operations, while the missiles are intended solely for Russian objectives,” Budanov emphasized.

According to him, over the past three months, North Korea has delivered approximately 120 M1989 "Koksan" 170 mm self-propelled howitzers and 120 M-1991 240 mm multiple launch rocket systems to Russia. It is expected that in the future, North Korea will send at least the same amount of this equipment to Russia.

Specifically, the head of the GUR highlighted the potential for Russia to receive North Korean KN-23 ballistic missiles, which have previously been integrated into the Russian military arsenal.

“Most of this weaponry is either used against Ukrainian forces or for training in Russia,” Budanov noted.

The Chief of Ukrainian Intelligence mentioned that North Korea may also send infantry as reinforcements to the Kursk region in 2025.  “We do not expect to see many new ground troops. North Korean soldiers are like biological robots,” he stressed.

Background. Earlier, Mind reported that the Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, Kyrylo Budanov, is confident that the new year will be better for Ukraine than the previous one, and he claims there are objective factors supporting this optimism.
