In the six months since the establishment of the UAV Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, over 220 operations have been conducted deep into Russian territory, deploying more than 3,500 drones. This was reported by the commander of the UAV Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Vadym Sukharevskyi, in an interview with "Donbas.Reality".
When discussing combat applications, summarizing the year 2024, the estimated figures are as follows: our units have conducted over 220 operations targeting the enemy deep within Russian territory. More than 3,500 devices have been launched to date.
He emphasized that Ukrainian bomber drones and the units utilizing them demonstrate "extraordinary effectiveness".
For instance, just in the last two months, our Nemesis units have struck over 15 expensive systems, including "Buk-M3", "Tor", and others. Notably, there was a strike on a "Buk-M3" just two weeks ago at a depth of 57 kilometers.
Sukharevskyi also highlighted that active work is ongoing to systematize various software complexes and develop new tactics for ground robotic systems.
We have already begun the process of synchronizing and developing components for maritime activities within the concept of defense and attack. I believe that very soon we will move to the practical implementation of such activities.
