At the end of February, a third group of volunteers among Ukrainian citizens living abroad will sign contracts with the Armed Forces of Ukraine, announced Ukraine's ambassador to Poland, Vasyl Bodnar.
According to the ambassador, this group will also include those individuals who were unable to arrive in Lublin during the contract signing of the second wave of Ukrainian citizens on January 10.
Bodnar expects that the number of Ukrainians abroad who decide to sign contracts with the Ukrainian army will increase.
He also believes that it is important to enhance the information campaign to ensure that as many Ukrainian citizens abroad as possible receive information about the recruitment center's work in Lublin.
Background. Previously, Mind reported that the “Ukrainian Legion” has begun recruiting new volunteers in the Polish city of Lublin, officially opening its first military point abroad. The first recruitment center in Lublin operates at the Ukrainian consulate. More than a dozen officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will provide consultations and assistance during the registration process.
