Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs accused Lavrov of antisemitism over his comments regarding Zelensky.

Lavrov claimed that Zelensky is allegedly a "pure Nazi and a traitor to the Jewish people."
В МИД Украины обвинили Лаврова в антисемитизме из-за его высказываний о Зеленском.

The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Sergey Lavrov, made an antisemitic statement regarding the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky. The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has urged Israel to condemn this falsehood.

Georgiy Tikhiy, spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, reported this on social media platform X.

It's worth mentioning that today Lavrov claimed that Zelensky is allegedly a “pure Nazi and a traitor to the Jewish people.”

“Such statements are not just crazy. They should be labeled for what they truly are: antisemitism. We call on Israel and Jewish organizations worldwide to condemn Lavrov's repeated and outrageous lies,” Tikhiy stated.

Tikhiy reminded that in 2022, Lavrov had already made antisemitic statements, including asserting that Hitler had “Jewish blood.”

“Such statements are not just crazy. They must be identified for what they truly are: antisemitism. We urge Israel and Jewish organizations around the globe to condemn Lavrov's repeated and appalling lies,” Tikhiy wrote.

Background. Earlier, Mind reported that the author of the controversial book “Putinocracy,” Boris Raichshuster, noted that as early as 2003, the late leader of perestroika, Alexander Yakovlev, diagnosed Russian society with “fascism,” observing a “rise in crime, antisemitism, and KGBization.”
