In October 2024, Ukraine registered 16.3 thousand used passenger cars imported from abroad, marking the lowest figure since the beginning of the year. Compared to October 2023, the number of registrations decreased by 23%, and relative to September 2024, it fell by 4%.

The structure of imports by engine type shows a preference for gasoline vehicles, which account for 46% of the total. In second place are diesel cars with a share of 26%, followed by electric vehicles (20%), while hybrids and cars with gas equipment each make up 4% of the market.
The average age of imported cars is 9.5 years. The Volkswagen Golf confidently maintains its lead among models, with 1,028 units registered in October. The top three also includes the Renault Megane (786 units) and the Skoda Octavia (634 units).
Notably, two electric vehicles made it into the top 10 most popular models: the Nissan Leaf (447 units) and the Tesla Model Y (299 units). Volkswagen is represented in the ranking by four models, while Audi has two.
Despite the decline in October, the overall dynamic for the year remains positive. From January to October 2024, Ukraine registered 192.3 thousand used passenger cars, which is 14% higher than the same period in 2023.
