European leaders are arriving in London for the summit, according to media reports.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and French President Emmanuel Macron have arrived for the summit on Ukraine.

“A group of European leaders is starting to arrive at Lancaster House in central London, where Sir Keir Starmer is hosting an international security summit. In total, more than a dozen attendees are expected, including early arrivals such as French President Emmanuel Macron and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk. Shortly after, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte arrived,” the publication states.

They will be joined by Zelensky and several leaders from European countries, including the Prime Minister of Italy and heads of Germany, Denmark, Norway, Poland, Finland, and Romania. Additionally, representatives from Turkey and Canada are expected at the event.

In the meantime, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has already met with Keir Starmer. He warmly welcomed Meloni at the office door, after which the leaders of the two countries posed for photos and headed inside for talks.

Starmer expressed that he “looks forward to the opportunity to discuss with you the important issues we face.”

Meloni thanked Starmer for convening the summit.

“I believe it is very, very important that we avoid the risk of a divide in the West. I think that in this regard, the United Kingdom and Italy can play a significant role in bridging gaps,” the Italian Prime Minister stated.

She added that if the West becomes divided, it “will make us all weaker.”
