Mobile pharmacy stations have been launched in the Poltava region.

The first mobile pharmacy point has opened in Poltava region, which will serve five villages in the Poltava district. In the future, there are plans for regular visits to 15 settlements in the Karlivka and Reshetylivka districts. This was announced by the Ministry of Health.

In mobile pharmacies, medications are dispensed both by prescription and over-the-counter, as well as those eligible for reimbursement under the "Affordable Medicines" program, meaning their cost is fully or partially covered by the government.

As noted by the Ministry of Health, the first mobile pharmacy began operations in January last year in the Kharkiv region. Over the year, 14 regions have been reached.

To obtain medication from such a pharmacy under the "Affordable Medicines" program, a mobile phone is required to receive a confirmation code for the electronic prescription.

The sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and precursors is prohibited in the mobile pharmacy point.
