In the village of Narodichi in the Zhytomyr region, the cause of a fire in a private house was a short circuit in the electrical network due to a multicooker that was switched on and left unattended. This was reported by the State Emergency Service (SES).
“A fire occurred in a private house in the village of Narodichi, Korosten district. The cause of the fire was a short circuit in the electrical network due to a multicooker that was switched on and left unattended,” they stated.
Rescuers promptly extinguished the flames, but the fire damaged the veranda's ceiling, the roof, and personal belongings.
The SES urges people to be cautious with electrical appliances – do not leave them switched on unattended to avoid similar situations.
