Реестры Минюста вновь заработали после кибератаки, сообщает Ольга Стефанишина.

On January 20, the infrastructure of the state registries was fully restored following the largest cyberattack by Russians. This was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration and Minister of Justice, Olga Stefanishyna.

“The Russians did not achieve their goal. We have gradually restored key registries for notaries, followed by the State Register of Civil Status Acts (DRACS), the Unified State Register (EGR), and now the work on restoring the final part of the registries has been completed. The final step is the updating of data entered during the recovery period, which is already being handled by the specialists of the executive service and private executors,” emphasized the Minister of Justice.

Olga Stefanishyna stated that the data of Ukrainians was not lost.

She pointed out that the Ministry of Justice is implementing systemic changes following the large-scale cyberattack.

“The first is accountability. We have ceased cooperation with the head of the State Enterprise ‘National Information Systems’. The criminal proceedings that were opened immediately after the attack are ongoing. An audit of NAIS has been conducted for the first time, and it has already been completed. Additionally, an internal investigation is underway.

The second is strengthening security. The Verkhovna Rada supported bill No. 11290 in the first reading. This is an important step. A professional network of cybersecurity specialists will be established in all state institutions that process important data of Ukrainians. This will be part of the same "Pentagon for state registries." But this is just a part of the plan for strengthening.

The third is international cooperation. Cyber threats have no borders, so we are actively engaging the expertise and experience of partner countries,” the minister emphasized.

As is known, on December 19, the most extensive external cyberattack on the state registries of Ukraine took place.

The registry of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs has resumed operations after the cyberattack.

We also reported that electronic interaction with the State Tax Service of Ukraine, the Pension Fund of Ukraine, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine, and the National Health Service of Ukraine has been restored.

The possibility of submitting an application for deferment from mobilization for parents of three children under 18 has also been re-established.
