США и Украина должны вернуться к переговорам вместе с европейцами, заявил президент Литвы.

Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda believes that the U.S. and Ukraine need to return to the negotiating table. However, European leaders should also be present.

He announced this on social media platform X.

Before the summit in London, Nausėda met with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer and representatives from two other Baltic states – Estonia and Latvia.

“We must make every effort to maintain a strong transatlantic connection. The U.S. and Ukraine should return to the negotiating table alongside Europeans,” Nausėda stated.

The Lithuanian president also supported Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk's remarks regarding the priority of NATO's eastern flank.

“The security of NATO's eastern flank is a priority. Ensuring peace in Europe could be a potential element of security guarantees for Ukraine,” Nausėda concluded.
