Starting from October 30, the heating season for residential buildings will commence in Kyiv. This decision was made by the city in light of the anticipated significant drop in temperatures. The mayor of the capital, Vitaliy Klitschko, reported this.
“Considering the weather conditions and meteorologists' forecasts of a substantial decrease in temperature, with an average daily temperature expected to be below +8 degrees for three days, we will begin connecting residential buildings to heating starting Wednesday, October 30,” Klitschko stated.
According to him, it will take approximately 7 days for the full deployment of Kyiv's centralized heating system.
Let us remind you that the heating season in Kyiv for hospitals, schools, kindergartens, and other social institutions began on October 14.
