The Ministry of Defense is launching a project aimed at expanding the use of unmanned ground systems within the military.
Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov reported this information.
According to him, Ukraine is ramping up production of these systems and deploying full-fledged robotic units within combat brigades along the front lines. This project is based on the experience gained from trials conducted since the summer of 2024 in collaboration with military personnel.

The primary suppliers of robotic systems are domestic companies. Umerov noted that Ukrainian manufacturers have adapted their products to the conditions of modern warfare and the recommendations of the combat units of the Defense Forces.
“We continue to transform the Armed Forces of Ukraine into a modern army that possesses a technological advantage over the enemy. Our goal is to create a military where innovative technologies assist in carrying out the most dangerous tasks while preserving the lives of our defenders,” emphasized the minister.
