In the city of Bila Tserkva, located in the Kyiv region, the police have launched an investigation into the beating of a 12-year-old girl. The investigation was initiated following a report from the victim's mother and the discovery of video footage of the incident, as reported by the official website of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the region.
It has been noted that the mother of the injured girl informed the police that teenagers had assaulted her 12-year-old child.
During the investigation, law enforcement officials determined that the injuries were inflicted by three minors: a peer of the victim, as well as 15 and 16-year-old boys, and they found video footage of the girl being attacked by these individuals.
A pre-trial investigation has been initiated regarding the beating of a minor (Part 1 of Article 125 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Later, the police will provide a legal assessment of the actions of each of the individuals featured in the video.
