The Kyiv City State Administration reported the number of residential buildings that are not connected to heating.

In Kyiv, only 4% of residential buildings managed by homeowners' associations, cooperative housing societies, and government agencies that submitted their applications independently have not been connected to heating.

In the capital, almost all residential buildings serviced by utility organizations have been connected to heating. More than 96% of residential buildings belonging to housing cooperatives, homeowners' associations, and departmental structures are also receiving heat. This information was shared by the Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA).

According to the city's mayor, Vitaliy Klitschko, by November 7, nearly all residential buildings serviced by municipal organizations have been connected to heating. Additionally, over 96% of residential buildings under housing cooperatives, homeowners' associations, and departmental structures are connected based on individual requests from their leaders.

“These buildings independently decide when to start the heating season by sending appropriate requests to the heating supply companies,” he emphasized.

The KCSA noted that during the warmer months of the off-season, Kyiv residents actively paid off their debts from the previous heating period. The heating tariff for residents has remained unchanged since 2019. Moreover,

“Essentially, we have reached a payment level of 93-95% for these services, which is almost on par with the pre-war period. However, I urge everyone not to forget about paying for services, as this directly affects the stable operation of municipal services,” emphasized Klitschko.
