The "Army+" app will soon feature two additional training courses: "Communication on the Battlefield" and "Psychological Training." This was announced by the Ministry of Defense.
According to Ekaterina Chernogorenko, the Deputy Minister for Digitalization, over 6,000 military personnel have utilized the online training service that was introduced in the Army+ app just two weeks ago. Some of them opted for two or even all three currently available courses: "General Training," "Field Living Conditions," and "Basics of UAVs."
The Ministry of Defense notes that military personnel have successfully completed online exams 2,000 times, with 1,500 of those being passed.
The first survey conducted in Army+ in August focused specifically on education. The Ministry of Defense sought input from military personnel on the most desired online courses they would like to see in the app. At that time, drone systems were the most popular choice, with 16% of respondents selecting them. As a result, this course was among the first to be launched in Army+.
Currently, "Basics of UAVs" is the most popular online training course out of the three offered, chosen 60% more often than the others.
Shortly, two new topics will be added to the training courses: "Communication on the Battlefield" and "Psychological Training."
