During the night, Russian forces launched an attack on Ukraine using 62 strike drones — 33 enemy drones were successfully destroyed, while another 25 were lost to radar detection, as reported by the Ukrainian Air Force.
“Preliminarily, as a result of the attack by the Russian Federation's strike drones, debris was recorded falling in the Solomensky district of Kyiv. A fire broke out in several apartments of a multi-story residential building. Eighteen people were evacuated from the building. Nine individuals were injured, including one child,” the Kyiv City Military Administration (KGMU) reported.
Additionally, according to military administration information, a fire occurred at another location in the area within an administrative building, which subsequently led to a gas distribution station (GDS) rupture that has already been resolved.
“Besides the residential building, a kindergarten in the Solomensky district also sustained damage,” KGMU added.
Kyiv police clarified that debris damaged a nine-story residential building, resulting in a fire. As of the morning, the fire has been extinguished.
“Nine citizens sought medical assistance. Among the injured is an 11-year-old girl. The injured received treatment without hospitalization,” the police informed.
