In the game "S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl," over 120 tracks by Ukrainian artists are featured. The playlist includes songs from The Hardkiss, Ziferblat, Jerry Heil, Kristina Soloviy, TNMK, Mykola Mozhovyi, "hate speech," and others. This information is reported by writes Forbes Ukraine.
The playlist was curated by the company Geisha Ninja Samurai, which received orders from GSC Game World in 2021. The company’s co-founder Andrey Zaytsev noted that the tracks were selected to recreate the atmosphere of the 1980s and 1990s, characteristic of the game's aesthetic. A unique feature is that many tracks were recorded in an underground quality, adding authenticity.
Specifically for the radio station in the game, Ukrainian folk tracks were selected. This helped create an authentic atmosphere, closely resembling life in Ukraine. Zaytsev describes the radio in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 as something that "an ordinary person would listen to on a minibus from Lviv to Kolomyia."
In total, the playlist features 120 songs with a combined duration of over 7 hours. It can be listened to on YouTube Music and Spotify.
