As is well known, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed law 3993-IX "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Regarding the Protection of the Interests of Land Share Owners, as well as the Application of Administrative Procedures in the Field of Land Relations," which significantly simplifies the process of state land inventory and the approval of necessary land management documentation.
The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine reported that the law regulates the procedure for agreeing upon and approving land management documentation concerning land inventory, requiring them to provide their conclusions on the agreement of technical land management documentation for land inventory or a refusal to agree, with a mandatory reference to specific grounds. Otherwise, such technical land management documentation for land inventory is considered approved.
The state land inventory is conducted by the State Geocadastre to populate the State Land Cadastre with information about lands of state ownership in the natural reserve fund, water fund, transportation, defense, and agricultural purposes.
"Overall, conducting land inventory is an essential tool for creating a comprehensive database of all land plots within the territories of administrative-territorial units and territorial communities. This will facilitate decision-making by executive authorities and local self-government bodies," the agency stated.
