The World Bank has allocated a new support package to Ukraine amounting to $750 million. The funds will be provided under the project "Support for Recovery through Sound Fiscal Management." This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.
"The implementation of the program will help strengthen the functioning of government institutions in wartime, ensuring that key state services are delivered to citizens in full. The reforms within the project are aimed at improving the efficiency of public investment management and state finances. If necessary, funding can be increased," he stated.
According to the World Bank's website, the financing includes $450 million from the Japan-supported ADVANCE Ukraine trust fund and a $300 million loan from the Special Program of the International Development Association (IDA) for the recovery of Ukraine and Moldova.
It was previously reported that Japan will allocate over $3 billion from frozen Russian assets to Ukraine.
Additionally, the Netherlands is investing €400 million in the production of Ukrainian drones.
