As reported by the «Judicial and Legal Newspaper», President Volodymyr Zelensky signed the law on tax increases (bill 11416-d) that was passed by parliament in October on November 28.
In light of this, Member of Parliament Alexey Goncharenko clarified that if citizens receive their November salaries in December, the military tax rate will remain the old rate of 1.5%.
“I mention this so that you are informed and can avoid deception and manipulation with salaries,” he emphasized.
Additionally, Member of Parliament and head of the parliamentary Committee on Finance, Taxation and Customs Policy Danyil Hetmantsev noted that a corresponding amendment regarding individual entrepreneurs was introduced, stating that the obligations for paying the military tax at the new rates will take effect from January 1, 2025, provided that the amendment is supported by the Verkhovna Rada next week.
“I am convinced that the amendment will be supported,” the MP added.
