The Ministry of Defense has approved the use of domestically produced armored vehicles in the Armed Forces.

The Ministry of Defense has codified and approved the use of the domestic armored vehicle UAT-TISA in the army.

It is noted that the UAT-TISA chassis is equipped with an armored capsule to protect the crew from small arms fire. A machine gun or turret can be mounted on it. Additionally, depending on the mission, the vehicle can be outfitted with extra devices.

The department emphasizes that the armored vehicle has high cross-country capability and can travel over 1000 km on a single tank of fuel. Furthermore, according to the Ministry of Defense, the vehicle can withstand detonations of explosive devices beneath the wheel or undercarriage.
