The illegitimate president of Russia, Vladimir Putin, has arrived in Minsk to participate in a meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State.
This was reported by the monitoring project “Belaruski Hayun” and the state news agency of Belarus “BelTA”.
According to “Hayun”, Putin's plane, the Il-96-300PU (RA-96025), landed at the National Airport “Minsk” at 13:42. His aircraft was accompanied by two fighter jets.
The plane departed from “Vnukovo” at 12:37 local time. The flight number is RSD509. As usual, a twin aircraft with the registration number RA-96022 also flew alongside him.
In addition, other officials have already arrived in Minsk, including Sergey Shoigu, Valentina Matviyenko, Mikhail Mishustin, Dmitry Peskov, and Nikolai Patrushev, which has led to traffic restrictions in the center of Minsk.
“BelTA” reports that the meeting participants plan to discuss the progress of the main directions for implementing the provisions of the agreement on the establishment of the Union State for the years 2024–2026 and the prepared security concept of the Union State.
The last time Putin visited Belarus was on May 23, 2024. During that visit, he spent the night with the self-proclaimed president of Belarus, Lukashenko, at the latter's residence by the Minsk Sea (the same location where he met with Yevgeny Prigozhin in 2023), analysts from “Hayun” note.
