Defense Minister Rustem Umerov discussed new joint projects with a delegation from the intergovernmental defense cooperation agency (AMOS) of the Ministry of Defense of the Czech Republic, accompanied by leading Czech defense companies.

“We discussed specific steps to expedite support deliveries from the Czech Republic and expand our collaboration,” the minister wrote.

In addition, Umerov announced that new joint projects are being launched to strengthen Ukrainian soldiers on the front lines. One such project is the production of rifles under the Danish funding model.
It is noted that part of this weaponry is already being manufactured in the Czech Republic, while negotiations are ongoing regarding the localization of production in Ukraine for the rest.
