В администрации Трампа требуют извинений от Зеленского за конфликт в Белом доме.

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio believes that Volodymyr Zelensky should apologize for the dispute with Donald Trump during their meeting in the Oval Office.

He stated this in an interview with CNN.

Rubio remarked that Zelensky "turned this issue into a fiasco." "He didn't need to go there and become an antagonist," – said the U.S. Secretary of State.

"When you start speaking about it aggressively – and the president makes deals, he's been making deals all his life – you won't get people to sit at the table," – noted Rubio.

"And you start to realize that maybe Zelensky doesn't want a peace agreement. He says he does, but maybe he doesn't," he added.

When asked by the Fox News host whether Zelensky wants to apologize to Trump, the Ukrainian president expressed gratitude to the U.S. president, Congress, and the people of the United States. Zelensky stated that he is "not sure we did anything wrong" when asked about the dispute, but acknowledged that the atmosphere was "bad for both sides."

Background. Earlier, Mind reported that following the meeting between Zelensky and Trump, the Ukrainian delegation promptly left the White House.
