Russian forces launched over 70 missiles, including ballistic ones, and more than a hundred strike drones at Ukraine on the night of December 25.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reported this information.
“The targets are our energy infrastructure. They continue to fight for a blackout in Ukraine,” he stated.
According to preliminary data from the president, defenders managed to shoot down over 50 missiles and a significant portion of the drones. Unfortunately, there have been hits. Currently, several regions are experiencing outages; energy workers are striving to restore electricity supply as quickly as possible.
“I thank everyone who is working for the country right now, those on combat duty, those defending our sky. We will restore everything we can. Russian evil will not break Ukraine nor distort Christmas,” the president emphasized.
