Russian drones struck Dnipro and the surrounding region overnight, with photos emerging showing the aftermath of the attacks.

During the nighttime attack by Russia on Ukrainian territory, the city of Dnipro and the Dnipropetrovsk region sustained damage. Rescue teams are continuing to address the aftermath of the assault.

This information is reported by RBK-Ukraine citing Telegram from the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, Serhiy Lysak, and Telegram of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

According to Lysak, during the night of Monday, January 27, 13 Russian strike drones were destroyed over the Dnipropetrovsk region.

However, as a result of the attack, infrastructure in the Samara district was damaged. A fire broke out there, and three private houses along with an outbuilding were also severely affected.

In Dnipro, three high-rise buildings were hit. A fire occurred in one of them, which rescuers managed to extinguish.

Additionally, Russian forces launched strikes using Grad multiple rocket launchers and heavy artillery on the Nikopol community, targeting both the district center and the Marhanets community. Damage was reported on the premises of an industrial enterprise.

The State Emergency Service clarified that in Dnipro, the roof of a nine-story residential building caught fire due to shelling. Two other residential buildings were also damaged. Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze, but examination work is ongoing.

In the Samara district, infrastructure was affected, and a fire broke out. Three private houses and an outbuilding were also damaged. Fortunately, there are no casualties or injuries reported.

A total of 64 rescuers and 24 units of emergency service equipment were deployed to manage the aftermath.

Nighttime Attack on Ukraine

In the night of Monday, January 27, the Russian Federation launched strike drones across Ukrainian territory from various directions. As a result of the drone attacks, an air raid alert was declared in Kyiv, and at that time, reports of air defense operations in the capital were also noted.

Air raid alerts were declared in Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kirovohrad, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Chernivtsi regions.

Explosions were also heard in Ivano-Frankivsk region - the Russians attacked the area multiple times using strike drones. The targets were critical infrastructure facilities.
