On January 7, Russians shelled the Nikopol region using multiple rocket launchers and artillery.

The Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, Serhiy Lysak, reported that Russians once again shelled the territory of the Nikopol district multiple times, as conveyed by "Vidomo".

"In the evening and at night, the occupiers continued to terrorize the Nikopol region. They used heavy artillery against the area. Initially, they struck the Krasnohrigorivka community. Then – Nikopol. Two trade kiosks were damaged. Fortunately, there were no casualties. The morning started with shelling as well. The aggressor launched an attack on the Marhanets community using Grad MLRS. The information is being clarified," he noted.

According to Lysak, there were no enemy strikes in other areas of Dnipropetrovsk region.
