In Dnipro, firefighters rescued a woman while extinguishing a balcony fire in a high-rise building.

A fire broke out in a high-rise building on Metrostroevskaya Street in the Novokodak district of Dnipro, reports "Vydomo" citing the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Upon the arrival of firefighters, it was determined that the blaze originated on the balcony of an apartment located on the sixth floor of a nine-story residential building. The balconies burned over an area of 3 square meters.

During the firefighting efforts, rescue service personnel brought a woman, born in 1943, to safety. The victim was hospitalized with burns by emergency medical workers. There were no fatalities.

A total of 9 rescuers and 3 units of fire and rescue equipment were dispatched to the scene.
