A group of unidentified individuals attacked the Swedish embassy in Moscow, using gas spray cans.
This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing Dagens industri.
According to media reports, three unknown men threw bottles and sprayed gas canisters in the security area of the embassy. They were subsequently detained by local police for their actions.
Later, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that they are aware of the incident and are in communication regarding it with the embassy in Moscow.
It should be noted that this is not the first time the Swedish embassy in Russia has been targeted by unknown individuals. In February of this year, masked individuals threw bags of feces at the building. This incident occurred after Sweden voted for NATO membership, and according to Russian media, it was related to Sweden's joining the defense alliance.
Ukraine and several Western countries do not rule out the possibility of a war between Russia and NATO. In Kyiv, it is believed that Poland or the Baltic States could be the next targets of the Kremlin.
Estonian intelligence notes that Russia is already preparing for a new conflict, which could begin within the next decade. Meanwhile, in Germany, it is suggested that Moscow could initiate aggression against NATO as early as 2029.
Recall that earlier, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte stated that the member countries must change the course of Russia's war against Ukraine.
