"This is our collective success that affirms the strength of our unity. At the same time, the aggressor is destroying our culture, monuments, theaters, libraries, and museums. In the fight for our homeland, our artists—carriers of living heritage—are perishing. Their loss undermines the very core of our identity. After all, without people, living heritage does not exist. We are proving that even in the darkest times, we remain unbreakable," stated the head of the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications, Mykola Tochitsky, in his video address.
For reference: The Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity includes 611 elements from 5 regions and 140 states participating in the Convention.
